AWS Surviving the Surgical Rotation Guide Fundraiser

Have you ever wondered how many pairs of gloves you should wear during a surgery, how to suction fluid without blocking the surgical field, or how to cut your suture in a way that is neither ‘too long’ nor ‘too short’? As a medical student, do you know what to expect or do during your surgical rotation?

The Association of Women Surgeons (AWS) club, working with the MWU Department Chair of Surgery and Anesthesia, Dr. Alexzandra Hollingworth, is creating a surgical rotation guide aimed to be informative, easy to read, and an excellent tool for all AZCOM students. Questions and answers will be printed in the AWS Surviving the Surgical Rotation pocket guide that will be available as part of our club  fundraiser this winter!
